This week, we have been learning.....
EAD- Self Portraits
We have been drawing self portraits this week. We studied our faces in a mirror and talked about what we could see. We then drew our face using a pencil thinking about the size and shape of each facial feature. Finally, we painted over our drawing putting lots of thought into our skin tone, eye colour and hair colour. We were very pleased with the results!
PD- First P.E Lesson!
This week we took part in our first P.E lesson. We met our sports coach Tommy and headed onto the field. We played some listening games where we could run around in the space and had to listen out to Tommy’s instruction. We were very good at it! We then continued these games with some equipment and practised some jumping and travelling skills too.
PSED- Learning Behaviours
We have been learning about our school learning behaviours. Over the next few weeks we will look at each one and challenge the Acorns to a task linked to them. Mrs M explained what co-operation means and we thought of ways we could work as a team. We decided to use co-operation to build a puzzle altogether as a team. We each took turns and offered support to each other to fit the puzzle pieces together. We were super proud when we completed it and each of us got a star to put on our learning behaviour wall.
