This week we have been learning…
Maths – This week we have been learning how to combine amounts and conceptually subitise within 8.
Literacy – The children have been writing some INCEDIBLE words and sentences to descibe different parts of our text ‘Juniper Jupiter’ by Lizzy Stewart!
UTW/Topic – This week we have been learning all about Lunar New Year and had a fantastic time at enrichment morning with Oak Class. We have also been working hard on a art project this half term – mini worlds to represent a hot or cold climate, using drawing, cutting, collage, colour sorting and l brace joins!
Phonics – This week we have been practising the sounds ai, ee, igh and oa for our Phase 3 mastery. We are practising our blending, recognising CEW’s was and you as well as segmenting to write words with those sounds in.
