Willow class, 2nd – 6th March 2026

This week in Willow Class we will be:

English: In English this week, we are moving on to the non-fiction side of our writing. The aim will be to write a survival guide! First, Willow will be immersing themselves in the style of writing and experimenting with the language of reports.

Maths: In maths we are coming to the end of our short statistics topic, looking at tables, two-way tables and timetables. We will also briefly recap telling the time.

Science – In Science, we will be starting our new topic on animals including humans. Our first lesson will focus on the human life cycle.

Big Question: Why should we look after our planet?

Have a look below to see what we’ve been up to this week:

We had a wonderful time at Shimpling Park Farm; made even more spectacular by the spring weather!

World Book Day Fun! Great costumes Year 5! We enjoyed some WBD activities, the masked reader and some paired reading with year 2.
