Next week, we are learning....
Literacy– Next week, we will be focusing on recognising and ordering letters in our name. We will be also learning how to hold a pencil and mark making different patterns.
Maths– Next week, we will be exploring matching and sorting using a variety of resources. We will be sorting by colour, shape and size.
Phonics– Next week, we will be beginning Phase 2 of our Phonics Scheme Unlocking Letters and Sounds. The sounds we will be focusing on this week is s,a,t,p.
Topic/UTW– We will be learning about ourselves. We will talk about our differences and similarities and looking at baby photos to discuss how we have changed since we was a baby.
This week, we have been learning....
This week we have been focusing on settling into our class routines and exploring our environment. We learnt about our school’s learning behaviours and focused on using ‘co-operation’ to work as teams to build puzzles. We also painted our own self portraits, thinking about our eye, skin and hair colours.
