Next Week:
Literacy – Next week we will be continuing to explore our new text ‘The Extraordinary Gardener’. We will begin to say, plan and write different parts of the story using our story friends.
Phonics- Next week, we will be continuing our journey into Phase 4! This phase concentrates on adjacent consonant blends, multi syllabic words and suffix endings. We will be looking at the adjacent consonants gl, gr, pl, pr, dr, sm, sn, sk, and sc. We will also be learning new CEW’s ‘little’ and ‘one’ as well as the suffix – ed.
Maths –Next week we will be exploring numbers beyond 10! We will be talking about recognising, building and finding the pattern in 14 – 20 as well as learning to count beyond.
Topic/UTW– Next week we ae going to be stating our minibeast topic! We will begin by learning all about snails!

Maths – This week we have been learning how to recognise, build and count from 10-13!
Literacy – The children have been busy looking closely into our new text ‘The Extraordinary Gardener’. We have been analyzing what is needed to make a great sentence, developing our comprehension and learning to recite the steps of planting a seed in an instruction format. We also have been busy working on writing our silly sentences in provision independently!
UTW/Topic – This week we have been learning all about how to plant our own bean!
