Ceramics and Clay Workshop
We had a brilliant time on Friday with our very thougthful guest to make some Christmas ceramics. We learned about the history of clay and where it originates from all the way through to the kiln and the massive temperature it reaches of 1400 degrees!
We then got started making decorations, stacked and spiral trees as well as tea light decorations. Thank you so much to Lorna for making this a possibility.

This week brought the toppings tasting. They all had a chance to try new foods and foods they thought they wouldn’t taste. Happy faces and great efforts all round.
Maths
I have been so impressed with the effort and focus the children have shown in Maths this week. It’s safe to say they’re pretty amazing at the adding strategies taught and are showing great progress.
