Science
We started off our lesson by learning about teeth hygiene and why we need to look after them. We introduced the children to the word plaque and its meaning. As the lesson progressed we also learned about why sugar isn’t too great for teeth and why we need to make sure we brush if we have had sugar. Later in the lesson we compared our teeth with our partners. We investigated each others’ teeth and counted how many they had.
We then headed to the hallway with everything we needed and had our disclosing tablet. This revealed just how shiny our teeth really were. We looked in mirrors to see how our teeth looked.
Using the purple as a clue, we brushed away all of our plaque so our teeth looked brand new.
