Maths
We have been smashing place value in our maths this week. We recapped the week by looking at tens and ones and seeing if we could identify numbers through representation. Later on in the week we explored place value charts and partitioning to give us a variety of ways in how we can read and identify the value of numbers.
PSHE
We explored some impulsive and deliberate behaviours and spoke about how they’re different. We identified which behaviour was displayed through scenarios before having a go at sorting our own.
Science
After doing some classifications on birds, we then identified that they shared the same basic needs as mammals: food, water, shelter and air. We went out to the forest school area to create a shelter for the some animals. We will investigate whether anything has been there in our lesson next week.
