Our learning this week:

In maths we are learning to understand square and cube numbers; multiply up to a 4-digit number by a 2-digit number; solve problems with multiplication; use short division; solve division using factors.

In English this week we are learning to use different sentence types; write a setting and character description using expanded noun phrases, relative clauses and figurative language.

In science this week we are learning to classify animals.

Our big question this week is ‘Does God know everything?’

In drama with Annie this week, Elder class finished blocking their scenes. They are learning their lines well and beginning to show character in their acting. Only two weeks to go until our performance!

The class wrote setting descriptions as part of a Bury Schools’ Partnership moderation event.

Well done to Rafe, Jack and Samuel for representing the school at the BSP Under 11 football festival. Also well done to Rafe, Jack, Samuel, Henry and Flo for taking part in the schools’ cross country event. Rafe, Jack, Flo and Samuel will be going on to represent the school in the next round of the event too.
