Elder Class 27th November to 1st December 2023

Our learning next week (week commencing 4th December 2023)

In maths we are learning to recognise imperial measures and converting them to metric units; recapping our learning from our measures unit of work including solving problems involving measures.

In English we are looking at the book The Snowman and using it as a stimulus for writing dialogue that shows character or moves the action forward, writing a diary entry and writing instructions.

In science we are planning an investigation about changing voltage in a circuit.

Our Big Question this week is Why is it important to be trustworthy?

Look at what we have been doing this week in Elder class!

Elder class had a fantastic trip to the Theatre Royal to watch Snow White with the rest of the school.

In PE Elders were perfecting their jumps, rolls and balances for their sequences.

In English, Elder class wrote some Haiku poems using Snow by Walter de la Mare as a stimulus.

On Friday we had our Christingle making and a service in the hall led by Rev Lawson.
