Our learning this week:
In maths we are learning to find the area of triangles and parallelograms; to find the volume of cuboids.
In English we are learning to write persuasive texts using appropriate features.
In science we are learning to understand the function of blood in the circulatory system.
World Book Day costumes looked amazing in Elder Class!
As part of WBD Elder class wrote comic strip stories based on the book Unfortunately by Alan Durant and Simon Rickerty. Tomorrow they are going to share their stories with Oak class during their weekly paired reading session.
In geography, Elder class have been learning about National Parks. They combined their learning from geography and English to write their own persuasive booklets about their chosen Park.
