Maths:
We looked at representing and partitioning thousands. We used place value counters to support our learning.
English:
We looked at the features of our example text, Storm Spotting. Our writer’s knowledge consisted of fronted adverbials, speech, short sentences, alternative nouns and similes. We also wrote fantastic setting descriptions!
RE:
We began our new topic, Christianity focusing on the idea of a saviour. We looked at Grace Darling and how she is a saviour because she saved many lives. We looked at how it takes courage and bravery to be a saviour like Grace Darling.
Art:
We looked at Roman masks , discussing the emotions they have and materials they are made out of. Then we had a go at completing another mask with our own design.
