Next week's learning:
English: Leon and the Place Between. Editing our writing, writing arguments for and against going into the box! writing persuasively.
Maths: Place value, finding 1, 10 and 100 more or less, estimating, comparing and ordering numbers to 1,000.
Science: Name and identify bones in a range of animals.
English:
This week we looked at new vocabulary and learnt about creating excitement and suspense in our writing. Here we are thinking about what it would be like as an audience member in the big top.
Maths:
This week in maths we have been investigating numbers up to 1,000. Here we are using place value charts and counters to solve a reasoning problem involving 3-digit numbers.
Geography:
In geography we learnt about why people might visit the Magic Kingdom in Florida. We wore our special ears to make sure we were fully immersed in all things Disney!
