English: The Pied Piper of Hamlin- traditional tale/myth. Explore the features and common themes of traditional tales and myths. Make inferences about characters and settings. Write in role and organise our writing into paragraphs.
Maths: Fractions: Add and subtract fractions, partition the whole, unit fractions of a set of objects, non-unit fractions of a set of objects.
Science: Light- plan an experiment.
Our learning this week:
Art: The children investigated mark making and produced a monoprint. They then produced a number of sketches of buildings which they then put together to create a final cityscape drawing. They will use this after the Easter break to create their final monoprint.
Maths: Lime Class played a game on the Ipads to help with their reading of volumes on different scales.
