This week’s learning:
Maths- we revised multiplying and dividing by 3 before moving onto the 4 times- table. Here, the children are playing a game to practise multiplying by 3.
English- this week, we investigated when we should double the last consonant when adding-‘-ing’, ‘-ed’ or ‘en’ to words. They then played a game on the Ipads to practise this. The children also started to write their own Stone Age adventure narrative. Here they are editing their work with their partner-
Science- this week, the children investigated the properties of rocks. They tested their hardness, whether they floated or not and if they reacted with acid. The children were excellent scientists and were able to explain how to make sure they had accurate results and work safely.
Computing- we started our coding unit this week. The children investigated the basic functions that are available on the programming website- Scratch.
