This week in Willow Class we will be:
English: In English this week we will be writing the last three paragraphs of our end of unit writing before (on Friday) moving on to the first lesson of our next unit which has the outcome of writing a bargain letter.
Maths: In maths, after finishing fractions on Wednesday, we will be moving on to our topic of decimals and percentages. The first lessons will be on decimals up to two decimal places and equivalent fractions (tenths).
Science – In Science we will be starting our larger topic on properties of materials, looking at magnetism, transparency and hardness as properties.
Big Question: Why do we sometimes feel sad even when nothing is wrong?
Have a look below to see what we’ve been up to this week:
In art this week, Willow added their first layer of resist (a mixture of gluten free flour and water) to their fabric.
In English, we used role play and hot seating to plan a character for their character narrative. We discussed facial expressions, body language and words and phrases that their characters might use.
