This week in Willow Class we will be:
English: In English
this week, we will be focusing on sentence structures, looking at how we can
embellish sentences.
Maths: This week we will be
continuing with our topic on place value, our focus will be on reading and
writing numbers to 1 million, partitioning, powers of 10 and 10, 100, 1000 and
10,000 more or less.
Science – Our first
topic in science this term is Forces. This week we will be looking at air
resistance.

In science this week we have started to look at friction. We carried out some simple experiments, ice and a rubber on a ramp, we spoke about the friction to strike a match and finally the book test. Ask them about this one :)!
In art this week we started looking at an author called Chris Ofilli. He used vibrant colours and abstract drawings. The class have begun their pieces by creating abstract drawings of their choice.
