Next week, we are learning....
Literacy- Next week, we will be introducing our focus book- The Something by Rebecca Cobb. We will be making predictions and sequencing the story using our Story Friends.
Maths- Next week, we will be focusing on comparing size, mass and capacity using practical activities.
Phonics- Next week, we will be continuing Phase 2 of our Phonics programme ‘Unlocking Letters and Sounds’. We are learning the phonemes g,o,c,k and introduce our first Common Exception Word ‘the’.
UTW- Next week, our theme will be ‘Our Community’. We will be talking about our local area and thinking about the people who help us in our community.
We have been discussing our families and sharing who lives in our house. We decided to make pebble portraits thinking about the size of the pebbles to apply to each member of our families.
