This week in Willow Class we will be:

Maths: In fractions this week, we will be looking at adding fractions. Including adding fractions that are a mixed number.

Science – Our new topic this half term is Space, our next lesson is on modelling and the motion of the Earth and other planets.

Big Question – What one thing would you change to make the world a better place?

Have a look below to see what we’ve been up to this week:

In DT this week we looked at some traditional English desserts, then we made (and enjoyed) Eton Mess! After that Willow class designed their own version of this dessert. Maybe they could try making their own recipes at home?

On Friday Willow had their annual trip to Golden Wood. We revisited the trees that were planted by William and Matthew from Papua New Guinea. Then we learned about coppicing and how to safely use loppers to coppice all of the Willow Osiers. They all worked so hard and were brilliant.
